Questions
Event questions
How many events does Limelightlist hold each year?
- Limelightlist holds four gatherings a year, one each quarter, in a different city each time. The current year runs Zurich in February, Lisbon in May, Kyoto in September and New York in November. Membership includes a place at all four.
How large are Limelightlist events?
- Each gathering seats sixteen members at each of two closed sessions, so thirty-two members in total, followed by one working dinner that brings both tables together. The size is fixed so that everyone speaks and nobody presents.
What are Chatham House rules at a Limelightlist event?
- Under Chatham House rules, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker may be revealed. Limelightlist applies the rule to every session without exception. It is the reason founders speak candidly at the table.
Are there sponsors or speakers at Limelightlist events?
- No. Limelightlist has no sponsors, no vendor tables and no keynote speakers from suppliers. Every conversation is led by members. A member who uses the room to sell is asked to leave.
Can I bring a guest to a Limelightlist event?
- A partner or a senior executive can join the working dinner as a guest. The two closed sessions remain members only. Guests are arranged through the concierge in advance.
