How introductions work

Four steps, each quarter

01You tell us what you are working on
One paragraph, each quarter. A hire, a market, a transaction, a problem you cannot name yet.
02The secretariat reads every one
People, not software. Matches are made on the problem, never on job title or sector code.
03Both sides agree first
Nobody is introduced without consenting to that specific conversation.
04We arrange the call
Time, place and a one-line brief to each side. Then we step out.

What is never shared

No member list is published. No member logos appear anywhere. Membership is not announced, by us or on your behalf. Capital participants attend as members and do not pitch.

Is there a Limelightlist member directory?

There is no public Limelightlist member directory. A directory exists for members only, and any member can ask to be kept off it at application or afterwards. Member names, logos and affiliations are never published.

How does Limelightlist make introductions?

Each quarter, members send the secretariat one paragraph on what they are working on. The secretariat, which is people rather than software, matches members on the problem described. Both sides agree before names are shared, and the secretariat arranges the time, place and a one-line brief for the call.

Who are Limelightlist members introduced to?

Members are introduced to three kinds of people: sector peers at a similar revenue scale in adjacent industries, operating partners who have run the same problem, and capital, meaning family offices and funds that attend as members rather than as sponsors and do not pitch.

How is Limelightlist different from a networking group?

Networking groups put people in a room and leave the rest to chance. Limelightlist matches members on a stated problem, requires both sides to consent to each introduction, caps every session at sixteen, verifies revenue before admission, and has no sponsors. The result is fewer conversations, each with a reason.
